Professional Biography

Dr. Popov completed medical school at Dartmouth, residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Lahey Hospital and a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Yale University. His professional interests include: Interventional treatments for back pain, including epidural steroid injections, joint injections, radio-frequency ablations (aka RFA or Rhizotomy procedures), kyphoplasties, vertebroplasties, RF ablation of bone lesions. Before joining Bloor Pain Specialists, Dr. Popov was the Fellowship Program Director for Intervention Radiology at his hospital system, meaning he was in charge of training new radiologists subspecializing in this field.

Dr. Popov has served as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Radiology, Tufts University School of Medicine and a Visiting Professor at the University of Novi Sad, Serbia.
